Order of carrying out of measuring apparatuses tests for the type of the statement

The application for tests for the statement of measuring apparatuses type is sent to Committee on Technical Regulation and Metrology of the Ministry of the Industry and Trade of the Republic Kazakhstan (hereinafter referred to as Committee).

Following documents should be enclosed to application for the statement of the type:

·          The project of the tests program or the project of changes and/or additions to the sample program;

·          The complete set of the company manufacturer documentation, containing full technical and metrological characteristics;

·          The project of a checking technique according to ST RK 2.63 in the absence of section in the operational documentation, regulating means and checking methods;

·          The project of the description on type under the form according to appendix D ST RK 2.21-2007 with general view photos 13Х18 or 18х.24 in duplicate;

·          The applicant’s letter on an admissibility of publication of the description type in the press;

·          Data on provision of measuring apparatuses in the course of their operation in the Republic of Kazakhstan with checking means, and also data about enterprises and the organizations which will carry out their service and repair;

·          The documents confirming validity of the recommended intertesting interval.

All the foreign manufacturers’ documents are represented with translation into Kazakh and/or Russian.

The application with the complete set of documents is sent to RGP «KazInMetr» for implementation. RGP «KazInMetr» makes a contract on carrying out of experimental researches of measuring apparatuses with the purpose of type statement with the applicant.

Work term on carrying out of experimental researches under the contract makes 3 (three) months from the date of payment.

Tests of measuring apparatuses for the type statement are carried out under the program of tests, developed according to ST RK of 2.6-2003 "Programs of tests for the type statement of measuring apparatuses. The basic requirements. ".

It is coordinated with the applicant and confirmed by the authorized body or the state scientific metrological centre or under the typical program of tests to which confirmed changes or the additions can be made.

The decision on measuring apparatuses statement type is accepted by the authorized body on technical regulation and metrology (Committee) on the basis of results of measuring apparatuses tests with the purpose of the statement of the type and on conformity to the approved type and makes sure the certificate on the statement of type of measuring apparatuses under the form according to A ST RK 2.21-2007 appendix, with period of validity no more than 5 years.

Order of carrying out of measuring apparatuses tests on conformity to the approved type

To carry out of measuring apparatuses tests on conformity to the approved type the applicant, along with an application, provides the following documents:

·          Copy of the certificate on the type statement;

·          Copy of the certificate of measuring apparatuses tests for the statement of type and the certificate of latest measuring apparatuses tests on conformity to the approved type if they were carried out;

·          The project of the description of type under the form according to appendix D of present standard with general view photos 13х18 or 18х24 in duplicate;

·          Operational documents according to GOST 2.601 for the measuring apparatuses made in territory of Republic Kazakhstan serially and for the measuring apparatuses imported to the territory of Kazakhstan the complete set of company - manufacturer documentation, containing full technical and metrological characteristics is represented.

Tests for conformity of measuring apparatuses to the confirmed type are carried out under the program confirmed by authorized body for the statement of type tests. If it is necessary, changes or additions to the program, confirmed by the authorized body, which includes check of characteristics and parameters in which the changes brought in a design or a manufacturing techniques could affect, are developed.
